Talladega Superspeedway and NASCAR Rally to Aid Hurricane Helene Recovery Efforts

In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastating journey through the Eastern United States, leaving a trail of destruction across Florida’s Gulf Coast, Western North Carolina, Virginia, and more, NASCAR and Talladega Superspeedway are stepping up to support affected communities. As the NASCAR family has deep roots in these areas, the industry is committed to driving recovery efforts where fans, teams, and families live, work, and race.

Talladega Superspeedway will serve as a collection point for supplies during the upcoming race weekend to assist those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Fans attending the races can contribute essential items, which will be distributed to families in need in the hardest-hit areas.

Requested Donation Items:

  • Canned and non-perishable food
  • Bottled water
  • Diapers
  • Baby wipes

Monetary Donations:

For those who prefer to contribute financially, The NASCAR Foundation is collecting donations to support the American Red Cross in their disaster relief efforts. Contributions can be made here.

Where to Donate:

Donations will be accepted at Talladega Superspeedway, specifically outside of the Turn 3 tunnel, near the Dega Depot.

Collection Dates and Times:

  • Thursday, Oct. 3 – Saturday, Oct. 5: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 6: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

NASCAR and Talladega Superspeedway are encouraging fans and attendees to come together to make a significant impact on the recovery process, helping rebuild the communities affected by this natural disaster.
