Stellantis announced that Leslie Peltier will take on the role of global communications director for the Citroën brand on September 8, reporting to Xavier Chardon, CEO of the brand.
Leslie Peltier succeeds Stéphane Cesareo, who will lead the communications for Stellantis brands and technologies in the Extended Europe region. “I am very pleased to be working with Leslie Peltier again, with whom I have had the pleasure of collaborating. Her experience, professionalism, and listening skills are essential qualities to strengthen the brand’s influence and deepen its relationship with various media. By placing communication directly under my responsibility, we are affirming the central role that communication plays in the transformation and future of Citroën”, said Xavier Chardon.
The new global communications director for Citroën has extensive knowledge of the automotive industry, having started her career at Mercedes-Benz. In 2003, she joined the Volkswagen Group France as press relations director for SEAT, before becoming press relations director for VW and VW Commercial Vehicles in 2005, and later director of internal and external communications for VW Group France and brand communications coordinator.
