A Stellantis Pro One, the division of the second largest car manufacturer in Europe dedicated to light commercial vehicles, has in effect, until the end of June, in Europe, a campaign that aims to actively contribute to a faster energy transition in the sector, proposing models powered by 100% electric engines at the same price as equivalent versions equipped with diesel engines. The measure, according to a spokesperson for the Franco-Italian consortium, “eliminates a very important barrier to the adoption of the technology, the acquisition cost, and reinforces our commitment to making sustainable mobility accessible to all professional customers”.
The campaign covers the eight small and medium-sized models sold by the four commercial brands of Stellantis Pro One – Citroën Berlingo and Jumpy, Fiat Doblò and Scudo, Opel Combo and Vivaro, and Peugeot Partner and Expert. “By offering electric commercial vehicles at the same price as diesel commercial vehicles, electric mobility presents itself as an accessible and realistic option for professional customers”, says Eric Laforge, the head of Stellantis Pro One.
