One month before the end of the year, Stellantis Mangualde manufactured 78,541 vehicles between January and November, which is its highest production volume ever.
In the first eleven months of the year, production increased by 10% compared to last year and exceeds the 77,607 vehicles manufactured in 2019, which was, until then, the best production year for the Factory.
According to ACAP data, Stellantis Mangualde represents 26.3% of vehicles produced in Portugal so far, and 95% of that volume is destined for the export market. This fact highlights the growing importance that Stellantis Mangualde has in terms of the national economy, reinforcing its importance in the development of the business and industrial fabric of the central region.
Currently, the Factory ensures the production of light commercial vehicles and passenger versions of Peugeot Partner/Rifter, Citroën Berlingo Van/Berlingo, Opel Combo Cargo/Combo, and Fiat Professional Doblò/Doblò.
“This result is the fruit of the commitment and dedication of our team of professionals, but also of the continuous modernization of the facilities and optimization of the production process,” said Christian Teixeira, Director of the Mangualde Production Center of Stellantis.
