Stellantis announced this Monday new general directors for Peugeot, Jeep, DS, and Pro One, the group’s commercial vehicle unit, as part of a set of measures to simplify its organization in line with the changes announced in December 2024, following the dismissal of Carlos Tavares.
In this way, Bob Broderdorf has been appointed to lead the Jeep brand. Alain Favey joins Stellantis and is appointed to lead the Peugeot brand. Xavier Peugeot has been appointed head of DS Automobiles, while Anne Abboud takes on the leadership of the Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicle unit.
In addition to these appointments, Stellantis also announced that software activities will now be integrated into a Product Development and Technology organization, led by Ned Curic, streamlining the market introduction process for innovative products and services across all brands in all markets where the company operates.
Another update is that Antonio Filosa, COO of the Americas Regions, will also take on the global leadership of Quality.
Corporate Affairs and Communication are combined to better support the company’s ongoing engagement with all its stakeholders, led by Clara Ingen-Housz.
Additionally, a Marketing Office has been created, led by Olivier François, which brings together marketing professionals to better support the brands, particularly through advertising, global events, and sponsorships.
“Based on the changes made in December, today’s announcements will further simplify our organization and increase our agility at the local level and the rigor of execution. We are eager to drive growth by providing our customers with an even greater choice of excellent combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles.”, said John Elkann, who took over leadership of Stellantis after the surprising resignation of Carlos Tavares last December.
It is worth noting that, as announced in early December 2024, the process of appointing the new permanent CEO of Stellantis is being managed by a Special Committee of the Board of Directors and will be completed in the first half of 2025.
