Verstappen continues to be the favorite to win the next Spanish Grand Prix, as usual. However, with several betting options available for each Formula 1 race, fans have the opportunity to explore promotions from betting houses on various platforms and seek a boost or bonus for their next F1 bet.

After the race in Montreal, reports emerged of several teams planning improvements in hopes of changing their fortunes before the Spanish Grand Prix on June 23.

Unsurprisingly, Ferrari has generated considerable speculation regarding the improvements. Both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were eliminated in Q2, resulting in a disappointing qualifying session for the Ferrari team in Montreal.

This result was particularly disheartening after Leclerc secured victory at the Monaco Grand Prix just two weeks prior, marking his second triumph of the season. While some teams may attribute the Canadian Grand Prix to mere bad luck and an isolated incident, Ferrari is taking a different approach.

Reports from Italy suggest that Ferrari is accelerating the planned improvements to be ready for the Spanish Grand Prix. New components aimed at improving speed were originally scheduled to be implemented at the British Grand Prix on July 7.

However, instead of waiting for two more races, Ferrari is seeking to complete these improvements immediately and introduce them in Barcelona. It seems that the team’s frustration after the double elimination was enough to make Ferrari give up waiting for two more races to implement improvements.

Andrea Stella, the principal of McLaren, also hinted at the possibility of improvements before the race on June 23 in Barcelona. Unlike Ferrari, the McLaren team is not trying to quickly recover from a disappointing race in Montreal.

Lando Norris achieved second place behind Verstappen in the Canadian Grand Prix, reaching a first or second place in four of the last five races, including his victory in Miami. His teammate at McLaren, Oscar Piastri, finished in fifth place in Montreal, after his second place to Leclerc in Monaco.

However, McLaren’s reaction to the race results is not one of celebration, but rather a feeling of missed opportunity. Despite briefly leading the race and displaying impressive maneuvers to secure second place, Norris was hindered by the speed of his competitors’ cars. This led the team to acknowledge the need for improvements to consistently compete for podiums in future races.

Stella, McLaren’s representative, expressed the team’s desire to improve the performance of their car. He emphasized the importance of making it faster and capable of challenging for victory, regardless of track conditions. Stella admitted that in dry conditions, Mercedes had proven to be faster than McLaren. Therefore, improvements are considered necessary to narrow this gap. These improvements should be implemented before the Spanish Grand Prix, although they may be introduced gradually over several races.

The team hopes that with these improvements, Norris and Piastri can maintain their competitive advantage and benefit from a stronger car. Their driving skills combined with the enhanced vehicle performance would ideally lead to more successful results.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes team is also discussing improvements ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton respectively achieved third and fourth positions in the recent race in Montreal. Despite this feat, it is considered somewhat disappointing, as Russell started in pole position and Hamilton recorded the fastest lap.

Mercedes has actively sought improvements throughout the season. Notably, they introduced a new front wing for the Monaco Grand Prix, which showed promising progress. However, Toto Wolff, the head of Mercedes, revealed that new parts will be introduced before the race in Barcelona. These improvements may not be immediately visible externally, but it is expected that they will contribute to improved performance.

The impact of Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes’ changes in the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix remains uncertain. Only time will tell the effects that these improvements will have. Stay tuned for more updates!
