The Skoda has revealed the first images of the new generation of the Superb, which will be presented on November 2nd and will continue to have sedan and wagon variants.
It is already known that the new generation of the Superb has a more modern exterior and is longer and taller, but slightly narrower than its predecessor. In this way, the wagon version is 40 mm longer and 5 mm taller than the previous one, and has a spacious 690-liter capacity trunk.
However, it is in the cabin where the main novelties are, highlighting the introduction of three rotary controls with small displays in the middle, which are customizable and allow access to a greater variety of functions, from climate control, driving modes or volume control, without overloading the central screen with physical buttons.
Also noteworthy is the infotainment system equipped with a 13″ screen, while the digital instrument panel is 10″ and can be complemented with a Head-up Display.
It is also worth mentioning the gear selector that is now located on the steering column to free up more space between the front seats, which have massage function and four levels of lumbar adjustment.
The Czech brand has already announced that the new Superb will be available with gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid engines, all equipped with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, except for the electrified version which will use a six-speed transmission.
