Skoda has revealed a new image of the future 100% electric model, the Elroq, a new compact SUV that is expected to go into production at the end of 2024, and is the first of six models that the brand will launch in the coming years.
The Czech brand has already announced that the Elroq is a compact car with about 4.50 meters in length and that it features a practical and spacious interior. As a 100% electric model, it will be the direct successor of the Karoq, expanding Skoda’s range of SUV-style models, and is based on the VW Group’s MEB platform, like the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé.
The small electric SUV will be launched this autumn and is the first Skoda to receive the new Modern Solid design language, meaning a modern aesthetic that evokes robustness, focused on functionality.
Another new feature of Skoda’s new design is the brand name highlighted in letters on the front of the hood and a wider, flatter grille. In addition, the front of the Elroq is characterized by the design of the split headlights with LED Matrix technology.
