Skoda apresenta os novos Kodiaq e Octavia RS

Skoda has just unveiled the brand-new Kodiaq RS and the refreshed Octavia RS, the latest members of the Czech automaker’s sports family.

Equipped with the new 2.0 TSI engine producing 265 hp, both models are more powerful than ever, without compromising comfort and efficiency in everyday use.

In addition to power, the two new RS versions offer an extensive list of standard equipment, such as the latest generation LED matrix headlights, LED rear lights with dynamic turn signal indicators, and the Kessy Advanced system.

Along with numerous body details finished in glossy black, the Kodiaq and Octavia RS now feature an even more distinctive exterior design, benefiting from a set of aerodynamically optimized elements, such as spoilers and diffusers, redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as visible exhaust tips.

The aerodynamic drag coefficient of the models has been further reduced by the large aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels, exclusive to the RS range, measuring 19’’ for the Octavia and 20’’ for the Kodiaq.

In addition, both models are equipped with red-painted brake calipers and feature variable ratio progressive steering as standard for both RS models, along with a lowered sports suspension for the Octavia RS.

The interior stands out with predominantly black elements, door panels featuring contrasting red stitching, and a black headliner, while the infotainment system and Virtual Cockpit come with adapted graphics. The ergonomically designed sports front seats, specifically made for the RS, include integrated headrests.

“Škoda’s popular RS models ignite passion among customers by providing thrilling performance. They have become icons of driving by combining exciting sports sensations, everyday practicality, and accessibility with a strong emotional appeal,” said Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Skoda Auto. “Now, the new RS versions of the next-generation Kodiaq and the refreshed Octavia are further elevating their dynamics to captivate and excite enthusiasts around the world.”, concluded the Skoda executive.
