The Skoda has just created a digital certificate for its models that can be easily obtained by owners of the brand’s models, and that includes verified details about the vehicle’s condition and service history within the warranty period.
This file is an official document from the manufacturer, which gathers data from various sources, including the vehicle’s electronic service book, and allows customers to have consistent and reliable information about their vehicle without the need to visit a dealer or pay additional fees. The service is free on all Skoda vehicles in Europe where Skoda Connect is available.
In this way, Skoda ensures that the vehicle’s digital certificate substantially increases transparency for all parties when a Skoda customer is selling a used car, thus increasing its resale value.
The digital document includes vehicle identification, technical specifications, a general presentation of the base and optional equipment for buyers and sellers. It also provides the current mileage and mileage history, any prepaid services and warranty extensions, as well as a complete maintenance history. It covers not only regular maintenance but also any repairs carried out under warranty.
