Yuki Tsunoda Vows Liam Lawson’s Comeback at Red Bull: A Determined Rebound

In a thrilling turn of events during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Yuki Tsunoda addressed the demotion of Liam Lawson from Red Bull, expressing utmost confidence in Lawson’s ability to “bounce back.”

Stepping into the Red Bull seat alongside the exceptional Max Verstappen in front of his home crowd at Suzuka, Tsunoda found himself in a pivotal position. The decision to swap Lawson with Tsunoda came after just two races into the intense 2025 season. Despite initially missing out on the opportunity to replace Sergio Perez in the top team, Tsunoda remained resilient and determined.

While speaking with Sky Sports amidst the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Tsunoda reflected on Lawson’s departure from Red Bull, remarking, “He’ll bounce back very strongly in the RB.” Tsunoda’s unwavering support for Lawson’s future endeavors at Red Bull highlighted the competitive spirit within the team.

Although Tsunoda secured a twelfth-place finish in Japan without earning any points, Red Bull Team Principal, Christian Horner, expressed optimism about Tsunoda’s progress in the upcoming races. Horner emphasized Tsunoda’s growing familiarity with the car and the team, predicting a significant improvement in performance in the near future.

As the Formula 1 season unfolds, the Red Bull Racing Team remains a force to be reckoned with, showcasing resilience and determination on the track. With Tsunoda and Lawson at the helm, the team is poised for an electrifying journey filled with adrenaline-pumping races and fierce competition.
