Shocking Confession: Lewis Hamilton’s Engineer Bono Heartbroken Over Ferrari Move

Lewis Hamilton’s Ex-Engineer Bono Shocked by Ferrari Switch

In a stunning turn of events, Lewis Hamilton’s former race engineer, Peter ‘Bono’ Bonnington, has made a heart-wrenching confession regarding Hamilton’s move to Ferrari for the upcoming 2025 season. The racing world was left in disbelief when Hamilton decided to part ways with his long-time team, Mercedes, after an incredibly successful 12-year partnership.

Having clinched six world championships together, the duo of Hamilton and Bono became synonymous with Formula 1 success. Their bond was so strong that Bono even mistook Hamilton’s current teammate, Kimi Antonelli, for the British racing legend himself. However, despite their close relationship, Bono was caught off guard by Hamilton’s secret negotiations with Ferrari.

Expressing his shock and emotions over the unexpected switch, Bono revealed that he was completely blindsided by the news. After over a decade of working together, Bono had envisioned retiring alongside Hamilton, making the sudden change all the more difficult to process.

As Hamilton embarks on this new chapter with Ferrari, his relationship with his current race engineer, Ricciardo Adami, has already hit a rough patch. Following tense moments during the Australian and Miami Grand Prix races, Hamilton found himself at odds with Adami over strategic decisions that impacted his performance on the track.

Despite facing criticism for his on-track behavior, Hamilton stood his ground, asserting his drive to win and refusing to apologize for his competitive spirit. With Ferrari needing to address strategic blunders to support Hamilton’s title aspirations, all eyes are on the seven-time champion as he navigates this turbulent transition.

Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving F1 saga as Hamilton’s journey with Ferrari unfolds.
