Sergio Perez responds directly about future at Red Bull after underwhelming Belgian Grand Prix.

Sergio Perez Instagram

Sergio Perez frustratingly expressed his unwillingness to engage in any discussions about his future with the media following the Belgian GP. Despite starting from the front row, Perez had a disappointing race, finishing in seventh place, below his teammate who started from 11th and finished fourth. When approached by the media after the race, Perez responded bluntly to questions about his future with Red Bull.

After the race, Perez was asked if he had confidence in continuing to race with Red Bull, considering his lack of podium finishes. The Mexican driver responded straightforwardly, stating that he is indeed confident. According to Perez, he had a positive weekend and there have been no changes in his situation. He believes that there is still a lot of work to be done within the team and that it is important to focus on important tasks rather than being distracted by rumors. Perez emphasized that their focus should be on their work rather than gossip.

Furthermore, Perez frustratingly declared that this would be the last time he discusses his future in Formula 1. He made it clear that he will not be talking about his position within the team. Perez believes that there is a lot of pending work to be done before the second half of the season begins. Therefore, he has decided to put an end to further discussions or speculations about his career plans and wants to concentrate on his performance instead.

During the Belgian GP, Sergio Perez faced several issues at the start of the race. He encountered problems with his car’s battery, followed by difficulties with the tires. He described the race as a highly disappointing performance for him. Perez found everything to be very challenging, starting from the battery issue. He felt frustrated because he couldn’t perform as well as he had hoped due to these technical problems.

When Perez managed to recharge his battery, he mentioned that he was on par with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. He was competitive and in a good position after the recharge. However, as the race progressed, he had to navigate through traffic at a particular spot, which made things even more challenging and tricky for him. As one problem was solved, another one awaited Perez.

Certainly, Sergio Perez explained that he faced various challenges and difficulties during the race. The circumstances were not in his favor, resulting in a disappointing seventh-place finish. It was yet another disappointing performance for his fans. The decision regarding Perez’s future at Red Bull has not yet been made, as the Belgian GP was said to be a determining race for the Mexican driver.
