Revolution in the World Rally Championship: Rally Islas Canarias 2025 Unveiled!

The heart-pounding world of rally racing is about to be shaken to its core as Rally Islas Canarias makes its debut on the prestigious WRC calendar. With a history dating back to 1977, this event on the captivating island of Gran Canaria is set to challenge the best of the best in the racing world, promising thrills, surprises, and fierce competition like never before.

A staggering total of 62 crews are gearing up to compete, with 10 Rally1, 33 WRC2, and 8 WRC3 teams ready to battle it out on the demanding tracks of Rally Islas Canarias. The return of the legendary Sébastien Ogier to the Rally1 field has sent shockwaves through the racing community, as he joins the likes of Elfyn Evans, Thierry Neuville, and Ott Tänak in a high-octane showdown for victory.

In the WRC2 category, the competition is equally fierce, with 38 Rally2 cars hitting the tracks, including top contenders like Yohan and Léo Rossel, Nikolay Gryazin, and Efrén Llarena. The Rally Islas Canarias promises to be a battleground where skill, speed, and determination will collide in an epic display of rallying prowess.

The organizers have crafted a challenging itinerary for the event, featuring 18 stages spanning 187 miles across the picturesque island. From the breathtaking coastal roads to the rugged inland tracks, drivers will face a true test of their abilities, making Rally Islas Canarias a must-watch for racing enthusiasts around the globe.
