In a shocking turn of events, Sebastian Vettel, the former Ferrari driver, has come forward with unexpected support for his rival Lewis Hamilton amidst the struggles of the British racing star at the renowned Italian racing team.

Despite a challenging start to the season for Ferrari, Vettel, who now competes for Aston Martin, surprisingly defended Hamilton’s current situation at Ferrari, expressing his belief in Hamilton’s ability to navigate through the tough times with the Scuderia.

Vettel, a four-time world champion, shared his insights on Hamilton’s performance, acknowledging the difficulties but also praising Hamilton’s realistic approach to the challenges he is facing with his new team. Vettel stated, “He didn’t have a dream start, but I believe he had a very realistic approach. Even if things are not going well at the moment, you can see that he knows how to handle his experience and the situation.”

The German driver continued to show his support for Hamilton by highlighting the current performance gap between the Ferrari drivers, with Hamilton trailing behind Charles Leclerc by 12 points in the championship standings. Vettel emphasized that despite the struggles, Hamilton’s experience and resilience could be key factors in turning the situation around for the British driver.

Vettel’s unexpected comments have stirred up the Formula 1 community, sparking discussions about the challenges Hamilton is facing at Ferrari and the immense pressure on the seven-time world champion to deliver results amidst the team’s performance struggles.
