Saudi Motorsports has high hopes for the Formula 1 circuit that will be the most extravagant track ever created. The current Formula 1 Circuit in Saudi Arabia is located in Jeddah, where races are held every season. However, the country is now ready to build a new circuit in Qiddiya as part of the government’s “Vision 2030” program. There were concerns that the $500 million project would be another wasted expense.

The Qiddiya circuit will have an elevation of 108 meters and will feature over 21 turns, including three proposed DRS zones. The first turn, known as the blade, will have a 70-meter uphill slope and will be clearly marked by an LED light display. The CEO of Saudi Motorsports, when discussing their plans for the F1 circuit, dismissed the idea that this project will be another unsuccessful venture.

Drawing inspiration from the Monopoly board game, the CEO mentioned that the process will start once they give the green light. However, there are several factors that need to be taken into account before that. Qiddiya presents a different situation compared to Jeddah. At the moment, it is difficult to determine when the first F1 races will be held, but they have a well-thought-out plan and believe that everything is falling into place.

Saudi Arabian Motorsports made an announcement about the new racing circuit located in Qiddiya. What sets this circuit apart is that it is more than just a race track. Saudi Arabia is known for its ambitious motor sports plans, especially regarding F1. This track is set to be the largest track in international championships. The track was designed by a former Formula 1 driver and renowned circuit designer.

The track was built with a focus on providing a complete experience, rather than just emphasizing the races. It includes various configurations and integrated sections, blending seamlessly with the environment like a street circuit. What makes it even more exciting is that the track incorporates water and a theme park.
