Sainz: F1 accident in Canada at the end of the race attributed to ‘risky’ decisions.

Carlos Sainz Jr, Spanish driver for Ferrari, had a disappointing performance at the Canadian Grand Prix of Formula 1. Sainz started in 12th position and struggled to move up due to the wet conditions. As the race neared its end, Sainz took risks in an attempt to score some points, but ended up spinning and colliding with Alex Albon’s Williams car. Sainz admitted that the race pace never felt right and the team couldn’t overtake anyone. He believes the team needs to analyze what went wrong and improve for the upcoming races. Ferrari’s struggles at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit were unexpected, as the car was expected to perform well. Sainz remains hopeful that this was an isolated incident and the team will bounce back. Unfortunately, Ferrari’s double retirement in this race allowed Red Bull to extend their lead in the Constructors’ Championship.
