While acknowledging the uncertainty, Sainz emphasized his commitment to training and giving his all in his final year with Ferrari. Despite not being mentioned in Ferrari’s press release, Sainz clarified that he was aware of the team’s pursuit of Hamilton and is now solely focused on delivering strong performances for the remainder of the championship. The 30-year-old driver expressed his confidence in his abilities and his belief that there are positive things to come in his career. However, he emphasized that his primary goal for this year is to give his best for Ferrari.
