Sainz aims for stability in upcoming decision.

In theory, there should be no obstacles for the Spaniard to secure a racing seat for the upcoming 2025 Formula 1 season, as he presents an intriguing prospect for any Formula 1 team.

Sainz has showcased his ability to triumph in races, and during his tenure alongside Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, he has performed admirably, proving that he is a superior racing driver compared to the highly esteemed Monegasque, who is widely regarded as one of the best qualifiers of his generation.

When considering the Formula 1 driver market, Sainz will be encouraged by the fact that there will be multiple opportunities available in 2025. A seat at Mercedes is already vacant, Sergio Perez’s contract at Red Bull is set to expire, and the same applies to Fernando Alonso at Aston Martin. The latter has not dismissed the possibility of targeting a race seat at Mercedes.

In an interview with Formula 1’s Official Website, Sainz discussed his future plans, stating, “I am aware of my recent strong performances. I know that there will be excellent opportunities out there to remain competitive in the future with other teams.

“Now is the time to carefully analyze, listen to different perspectives, and make sure I give myself enough time to determine exactly what I want to do in the future and where I will spend the next, who knows, three or four years of my career.

“I will turn 30 this year, which means I am likely at my peak, so I want to ensure that I allocate enough time to analyze and consider everyone’s input to determine my next move,” reasoned Sainz.

As one of the most consistently impressive performers on the grid, Sainz is also looking for a seat that provides him with stability and reliability.

He stated, “Wherever I go next, I will seek stability and an intriguing project in order to become a champion in the future.

“I firmly believe in stability,” he added. “I strongly believe in consistency and in developing a rapport with the people you work with, immersing yourself in a team for more than just one or two years. It is no secret that this is my preference, which is why I need to give myself ample time to make a well-informed decision.”

The 2024 Formula 1 season will mark Sainz’s tenth season in the top flight and his fourth and final season with Ferrari. He has achieved two victories, five pole positions, and 16 podium finishes throughout his career.
