Rivian, the American electric vehicle brand, exceeded analysts’ expectations by announcing that last year 49,476 units rolled off the assembly line, and that it managed to deliver a total of 51,579 units to its customers last year, marking a new delivery record for the company, surpassing the 50,122 units delivered in 2023.
The revealed numbers align with the American brand’s expectations, which anticipated production between 47,000 and 49,000 units and deliveries of 50,500 to 52,000 vehicles.
The company also disclosed that it overcame component shortages that affected the production of its models during part of the last year. Moreover, the reported figures are particularly positive considering that the electric vehicle market is not currently at its best moment.
Rivian has scheduled the release of its fourth-quarter financial results for February 20, at which time it is expected to provide its forecasts for 2025.
