In a heart-pounding showdown under the blazing Texas sky, Rico Abreu emerged victorious in a thrilling sprint race against Kyle Larson at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. The Stockyard Stampede for the Kubota High Limit Racing series drew a massive crowd, eagerly watching as Abreu, Larson, and Brad Sweet engaged in a high-speed battle through lapped traffic.

With the clock ticking at just seven minutes and 30 seconds, the 30-lap race was a nail-biting spectacle of skill and strategy. Despite Larson’s pole position advantage, it was Abreu who dominated the track, expertly maneuvering through the traffic and securing a well-deserved win by a razor-thin margin of 1.020 seconds.

Abreu’s triumph marked his first Kubota High Limit Racing victory of the season, capping off a remarkable three-week winning streak for Rico Abreu Racing. Meanwhile, Larson, fresh off a NASCAR Xfinity Series victory earlier in the day, settled for a commendable second place on the challenging dirt track.

Behind the leading duo, Brad Sweet clinched third place aboard the NAPA Auto Parts No. 49, maintaining his strong performance throughout the weekend. The top five was rounded out by Texan Sam Hafertepe Jr. and rising NASCAR star Corey Day, showcasing the depth of talent in the exhilarating race.

The intense competition thrilled fans in Fort Worth, with three-wide splits and heart-stopping moments keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. The final results reflected the drivers’ exceptional skill and determination, setting the stage for future showdowns in the high-octane world of dirt track racing.

In a dramatic finish to the Stockyard Stampede, Rico Abreu emerged as the ultimate victor, cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with on the track. As the dust settled and the cheers subsided, one thing was clear – in the world of dirt track sprint racing, anything can happen, and only the best emerge victorious.
