American company Rezvani Motors has decided to develop a model with the shape of a Porsche 911 from the 992 generation with details that hark back to the 935.
The RR1, which will have a limited production of 50 units, is a derivative of the latest model from the 992 generation, featuring carbon fiber body panels in the style of the legendary competition models that shone at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1970s.
However, Rezvani’s design is evident in a hood that features a more sloped front, while the narrow rectangular headlights are similar to those used by Porsche in the Taycan.
Rezvani has already announced plans to offer the RR1 in three power levels. The RR1 550, based on the 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S, will have 558 hp, in addition to a lightweight body, Ohlins TTX-Pro “coilovers” springs, and a new high-performance exhaust system.
The intermediate version, the RR1 565 is based on the 911 GT3 992 and offers 573 hp, and will have a six-speed manual gearbox, or dual-clutch automatic,
As for the top-of-the-line model, it is the RR1 750, based on the 911 Turbo S, and has been enhanced to deliver a maximum power of 760 hp. This version features a suspension configuration adjusted for road or track, depending on the needs.
