Carlos Sainz, the outspoken Williams driver, is not holding back on criticizing his team’s car performance after a disappointing finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Sainz demands a complete overhaul of the car philosophy for the upcoming 2026 season, pointing out the glaring aerodynamic flaws of the Williams FW47 that have been haunting the team.

With a lackluster P14 finish in Budapest, Sainz has been vocal about the car’s struggles, particularly in long-radius corners where the car fails to maintain crucial downforce. The Spaniard is adamant that his feedback could be the key to unlocking the team’s potential and propelling them towards success.

In a sport where every millisecond matters, Sainz’s candid assessment sheds light on the intense pressure faced by drivers and teams in the ultra-competitive world of Formula 1. As the Williams team grapples with performance issues, all eyes are on whether they can heed Sainz’s advice and make the necessary changes to stay ahead of the pack.

With the 2026 season on the horizon, Sainz’s call for a rethink in car design could be the catalyst for Williams to rise from the ashes and emerge as a formidable force on the F1 circuit. Will Sainz’s feedback be the missing piece in the puzzle for Williams, or are greater challenges awaiting the historic team? Only time will tell as the drama and excitement of Formula 1 continue to unfold.
