In the grid of the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, Lando Norris of McLaren MCL38 competed in the Formula 1 World Championship on April 20, 2024. In the second Sprint race of the season, Max Verstappen emerged victorious, securing a 3-second advantage over Charles Leclerc. Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, secured third place. Daniel Ricciardo of RB impressed by finishing fourth, while Carlos Sainz of Ferrari and Oscar Piastri of McLaren closely pursued him but couldn’t overtake, finishing fifth and sixth respectively. Nico Hulkenberg crossed the finish line in seventh, followed by Yuki Tsunoda, who took the final points-scoring position. Pierre Gasly and Logan Sargeant completed the top 10.
