Renovados VW ID.4 e ID.5 já estão disponíveis no mercado nacional

VW has just announced the arrival of the renewed ID.4 and ID.5 in the national market with prices starting at €48,072 and €51,991 respectively.

The renewed electric models from VW now offer new electric motors, inheriting the powertrain introduced for the first time in the ID.7, that is, a 286 hp electric motor on the rear axle now used in the rear-wheel drive models ID.4 Pro (City and Urban) and ID.5 Pro (City and Urban) – which corresponds to an increase of 80 hp compared to their predecessors.

The power delivery is more dynamic in all situations, as the torque of the 286 hp electric motor has increased from 310 to 545 Nm. The additional 235 Nm corresponds to about 75% more torque.

As for the GTX versions, with a more sporty character and all-wheel drive, they now come with 340 hp, which is an increase of 41 hp, allowing for an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. However, like before, the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX are electronically limited to a maximum speed of 180 km/h.

All ID.4 and ID.5 models make use of a new 77 kWh battery, which allows for greater range. In the case of the new ID.4 Pro, the range is up to 550 km (WLTP combined cycle), which is 17 kilometers more than its predecessor. The new ID.5 Pro has a range of up to 556 km – an increase of 11 kilometers.

On the other hand, the rear-wheel drive versions of the ID.4 and ID.5 feature an on-board charger with a power of 135 kW at fast charging stations.

The all-wheel drive models now offer an optimized DC charging capacity, which has increased from the previous 135 to now 175 kW. With maximum charging capacity, these ID. versions can charge enough energy to travel 178 kilometers in just 10 minutes.

Inside, the updated ID.4 and ID.5 now feature the new generation of infotainment system with latest software, including a 12.9” screen, along with a digital instrument panel as standard and an optional augmented reality head-up display.

The touch-sensitive air conditioning and volume control selectors are now illuminated, and the multifunction steering wheel includes a new operating logic.
