Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Seat has just unveiled the latest update of two of its most popular models: Ibiza and Arona. The former is already an icon in the compact segment, with over six million units sold across five generations since its debut in 1984; the urban SUV has sold over 750,000 units since its launch in 2017 – in both cases, the improvements made are based on three fundamental pillars: a refreshed look, a more refined interior, and the premise of providing offerings with a stronger overall value.
Visually, the modifications made to the revised Ibiza and Arona aim to give them a more distinctive and contemporary design. New colors are available (and two contrasting roof options, in black or grey, for the Arona), as well as a completely renewed range of alloy wheels, from 15” to 18” (two new options of 17”, and the same number of 18”, for the Ibiza; while the Arona now features two new options of 16”, and also two of 18” – in either case, available with painted or machined finishes).

At the rear, the lettering with the model name is now in darkened aluminum, and in the Ibiza, the bumper has been redesigned – but, in both, what has really changed the most is the front section, completely renewed. Note the new design of the hexagonal grille, with diamond mesh finished in matte/polished; the new fully LED headlights, narrower, with a new light signature and higher lighting capacity; the new bumper; and the sensors and fog lights with a black frame.
Inside, dominated by a new black finish, the Spanish brand assures that it has improved quality, design, and connectivity. Therefore, there are new textured fabrics, particularly on the seats; a darker headliner; door panels with fabric finish; perforated leather covering the steering wheel – and, in the FR version of the launch edition, the sports seats are standard. At the same time, a new sound system has been introduced with six speakers, a subwoofer, and a 300 W amplifier; and the induction charging for mobile devices now has 15 W of power and cooling.
With a market launch scheduled for Spring 2026, the refreshed Ibiza and Arona do not present any news regarding the engine offerings. The atmospheric version of 80 hp from the three-cylinder 999 cc, combined with a five-speed manual gearbox, remains exclusive to the Ibiza; while the respective turbocharged derivatives of 95 hp (five-speed manual gearbox) and 115 hp (with six-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic) are common to both; as well as the four-cylinder 1.5 TSI of 150 hp (which is always paired with the seven-speed DSG gearbox).
