BYD has just launched the updated Atto 3 in the national market, a 100% electric model that comes with more equipment, increased comfort, and standard technology, starting at a price of €36,220.

The best-selling model from BYD in Portugal is based on the technologically advanced e-Platform 3.0 and is equipped with a 60.4 kWh Blade Battery, allowing for an urban range of up to 565 km (WLTP cycle).

Available in Comfort and Design versions, with a maximum power of 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque, the updated Atto 3 boasts an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h.

The updated Atto 3 now features a maximum DC charging power of 110 kW, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes.

The suspension has also been improved to make the ride more comfortable, and the towing capacity has increased to 750 kg.

On the exterior, the changes are not very significant and include the removal of the mention “Build Your Dreams,” the introduction of a new color, Cosmos Black, as well as black door frames and rear pillars, and a new design for the 18” alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin now features a black interior, rain sensor, heated steering wheel, and tinted rear windows in both versions, with the Design version additionally offering ventilated seats for the driver and front passenger.

The Atto 3 also includes intelligent voice control “Hi BYD,” and to enjoy all its applications, the driver can wirelessly connect their smartphone to the 15.6’’ rotating touch screen via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Additionally, the updated Atto 3 also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, which are performed remotely.

In terms of pricing, the updated BYD Atto 3 is available in the Comfort version for €42,490, and the Design version for €44,490, excluding registration fees, transportation, and additional painting costs. Until the end of June, there is a campaign with prices starting at €36,220 for the Comfort version.
