Grupo Renault aumenta vendas em 2025

The Renault Group, accounting for the three brands that comprise it, announced a 3.2% increase in global sales in 2025 compared to 2024, totaling 2,336,807 vehicles. The positive contribution of technologies associated with the electrification of the automobile stands out, as well as the fact that, for the first time, the Alpine division has surpassed the threshold of 10,000 units!

The commercial performance in Europe is one of the highlights for the French manufacturer: with 1,607,848 vehicles registered, it secured the lowest place on the podium among the most successful manufacturers in the Old Continent last year, being surpassed only by the VW Group and Stellantis. According to data provided by the Gallic consortium, and by brand, Renault grew by 3.2% compared to 2024, registering 1,628,030 vehicles, Dacia progressed by 3.1%, recording 697,408 units, and Alpine increased its sales by 139.2%, to 10,970 units.

Detailing sales by vehicle type, those of light passenger vehicles grew by 5.9%, with competing models in segment C and higher categories representing 31.1% of the total. The electrification strategy and the “mirror” range in the Renault brand – with electric vehicles coexisting in parallel with combustion and hybrid models – are the reasons cited for this increase, especially among private customers in Europe, with about 400,000 hybrids (+35.1%) and 194,000 electric vehicles (+76.7%).

The electric range, which includes models such as the R5 E-Tech, the R4 E-Tech, and the Scénic E-Tech, accounted for 20.2% of Renault’s sales in 2025 (151,939 units). The arrival of the Twingo E-Tech, expected in the first half of the current year, is anticipated to actively contribute to strengthening these numbers. Despite this, the brand emphasizes the predominance of hybrids (287,000 units), with the Symbioz being the best-selling HEV.

The growth of hybrids also applies to Dacia, which sold more than 113,000 vehicles of this type in 2025, corresponding to an increase of 121.7% compared to the figures of 2024. The Romanian brand recorded a total of 697,408 units during the past year (+3.1%), allowing it to reach the significant milestone of 10 million units sold since 2004 – 601,765 were registered in Europe (+2.9%). These results were driven by the Sandero, the best-selling car in Europe, and the arrival of the new generations of the Duster and Bigster.

Finally, Alpine, in 2025, recorded a sales record, exceeding 10,000 registrations (10,970) and growing 139.2% compared to 2025. This momentum was supported by strong performances in markets such as France (+89.5%), the United Kingdom (+369.5%), and Germany (+133.5%). The introduction of the A290 explains this growth (8,198 units sold, compared to only 2,681 of the A110, which is nearing the end of its production).
