The French Ministry of Defense consulted Renault about the possibility of the French brand assisting in the production of drones intended for Ukraine.
“We were contacted by the Ministry of Defense regarding the possibility of producing drones. The conversation took place, but no decision has been made at this time, as we are awaiting more details about this project from the ministry”, said Renault in a statement to “Reuters.”
This information now revealed comes after the French news site “Franceinfo” reported on Sunday that Renault was set to produce drones intended for Ukraine.
Furthermore, the French Ministry of Defense has already informed “Reuters” that it is up to the company to take a position on this project, without, however, identifying the company.
