The reborn Renault 4 Electric is expected to hit the market in 2025, with its presentation scheduled for October 14 at the Paris Motor Show, but the new model from the French brand has been spotted again in final testing.
The images revealed by “MotorAuthority” show that the new fully electric Renault 4 features a design in line with the 4EverTrophy concept presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2022, although the production version has a more fluid style.
The new Renault 4 promises to surprise fans of the original 4, also known as the 4L, which was produced for over three decades, going out of production in 1994 and selling more than 8 million units in at least 100 countries, making it more than just a car; it is a true icon of the French brand.
It is already known that the new Renault 4 Electric will use the same EV Ampr Small architecture as the new Renault 5, but with a design inspired by the original and styled as a modern crossover.
Everything points to the new 4 Electric, just like the new Renault 5, featuring a 150 hp electric motor powered by a 52 kWh battery, as well as a variant with a 95 or 120 hp motor, always in combination with the 40 kWh battery.
