Title: Turmoil in the Red Bull Garage: Internal Politics Threaten Tsunoda’s Future Amid Driver Shake-Up!

In a shocking revelation that could send ripples through the world of Formula 1, former racing ace Juan Pablo Montoya has pulled back the curtain on the cutthroat politics at Red Bull Racing. With the 2026 F1 season looming, the Milton Keynes powerhouse is grappling with monumental decisions regarding its driver lineup, and it appears that internal maneuvering is playing a significant role in the fate of Yuki Tsunoda.

As the reigning six-time constructors’ champions continue to deliberate over who will stand alongside the formidable Max Verstappen, questions are swirling about the future of Tsunoda and other contenders. Isack Hadjar is already confirmed to remain with the joint team, but the hierarchy’s lack of clarity regarding the top team’s second seat is raising eyebrows. The race for the coveted positions has become a nail-biting spectacle, with Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and F2’s Arvid Lindblad all vying for their shot at glory.

Montoya did not mince words when discussing Tsunoda’s precarious position during the latest episode of the MontoyAS podcast. “I think there is a small chance [he keeps his seat] because of politics, and I don’t want to talk about it here,” he revealed, hinting at the murky waters Tsunoda must navigate. He boldly stated, “If Helmut made the decisions, I would say that 90 percent he would be out,” insinuating that Red Bull’s advisor Helmut Marko might not favor the Japanese driver if left to his own devices.

The dynamics within Red Bull are shifting dramatically. Montoya pointed out that “things have changed a bit; they are a little more political.” This change suggests that Red Bull Austria is exerting greater influence over team decisions, complicating the already tense atmosphere. With three seats up for grabs, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Montoya speculated further, saying, “Lindblad goes up for sure; it’s whether Yuki leaves or whether Liam Lawson leaves. Theoretically, that is the plan.”

As the clock ticks down toward the 2026 season, fans and analysts alike are left on the edge of their seats, wondering who will emerge victorious in this high-stakes game of driver selection. Will Tsunoda’s career at Red Bull be saved by the shifting tides of internal politics, or will he be left in the dust as the team opts for fresh talent? One thing is for certain: the drama is far from over, and all eyes will be watching as the saga unfolds in the fast-paced world of Formula 1!
