In a stunning turn of events, Christian Horner has bid farewell to the Red Bull F1 team, leaving jaws dropped across the paddock. The shocking announcement came just after the British Grand Prix, ending Horner’s remarkable 20-year tenure as team principal.

As the longest-serving team principal in Formula 1, Horner’s departure has sent shockwaves through the racing world, with drivers expressing their surprise and respect for the influential figure. Yuki Tsunoda of Red Bull admitted his astonishment, highlighting the significant change this move represents for the team.

Even seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton weighed in on the unexpected development, nonchalantly stating his detachment from off-weekend F1 news. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen, whose successful years at Red Bull were under Horner’s guidance, acknowledged the management’s prerogative to make such decisions.

Looking ahead, speculation abounds regarding Horner’s next move, with Pierre Gasly praising his track record and predicting a swift return to a prominent role in the paddock. The shockwave of Horner’s exit also reached Red Bull’s sister team, Racing Bulls, where drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar expressed their surprise and curiosity surrounding the sudden change.

Amidst the buzz and uncertainty, one thing is clear – Christian Horner’s departure marks the end of an era at Red Bull, leaving fans and insiders alike eagerly anticipating his next chapter in the world of Formula 1.
