Formula 1 in Turmoil: Red Bull’s Christian Horner Reveals Team’s Hidden Struggles

Red Bull’s Formula 1 team is in crisis mode as team principal Christian Horner exposes the hidden problems plaguing the powerhouse racing team. The reigning champion, Max Verstappen, has been facing a tumultuous season, only clinching one race victory in 2025, while the team’s second driver, Yuki Tsunoda, continues to grapple with the challenges of the new setup.

In a recent statement, Horner shed light on the struggles faced by the team, particularly in the Bahrain Grand Prix where both drivers failed to deliver stellar performances. Verstappen and Tsunoda battled issues such as poor starts, tyre overheating, and sluggish pit stops, painting a grim picture for the once-dominant team.

Despite attempts to downplay the severity of the situation, reports of a ‘crisis meeting’ within Red Bull have surfaced, hinting at deeper-rooted problems within the team. Horner admitted to facing brake, balance, and pit lane wire issues, highlighting the need for significant improvements moving forward.

Verstappen, known for his fiery temperament, expressed his frustration post-race, lamenting that “basically everything went wrong.” The Dutch driver’s discontent underscores the mounting pressure on Red Bull to address their performance woes and return to their winning ways.

With the F1 season heating up, all eyes are on Red Bull as they strive to overcome their internal challenges and regain their competitive edge on the track. Stay tuned for more updates as the drama unfolds in the world of Formula 1.
