Red Bull instado a garantir Alonso ou Sainz para 2025.

Perez himself seems confident in extending his contract with Red Bull, expressing that a renewal is likely just a matter of time due to mutual satisfaction.

Ralf Schumacher, a former Formula 1 driver, strongly recommends that Red Bull make a quick decision regarding the replacement of Sergio Perez, considering both Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

Amidst the busy driver market, Schumacher emphasizes the urgency, especially considering Perez’s uncertain future despite a promising start to the season with second places in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Perez himself remains positive about renewing his contract with Red Bull, stating that a renewal is likely just a matter of time due to mutual satisfaction.

Speculation around Perez’s position intensifies with Carlos Sainz, who was once nurtured by the Red Bull driver academy, losing his place at Ferrari to Lewis Hamilton for the 2025 season, making him a viable candidate.

Furthermore, Fernando Alonso, a two-time champion, reportedly expresses strong interest in joining Red Bull as his contract with Aston Martin comes to an end this season.

Schumacher, in his commentary for Sky Germany, criticizes Red Bull’s reluctance to secure their lineup for 2025, arguing that the current period is crucial for decision-making, especially with notable drivers like Sainz and Alonso available.

He insists that Red Bull must take decisive action to effectively navigate the highly competitive driver market.

Interestingly, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko acknowledges the potential of considering Sainz for the upcoming season, especially after an interaction in Suzuka.

Sainz’s history with the team, including a tense period with Max Verstappen at Toro Rosso and subsequent moves to Renault, McLaren, and Ferrari, adds complexity to the possibility of his return.

However, Schumacher speculates that Sainz may not be Marko’s first choice due to past decisions to let him go.

The situation presents a significant turning point for Red Bull, as they deliberate on their future lineup, balancing the dynamics of the team’s current performance, potential market moves, and the intricate stories of the involved drivers.
