Red Bull Unveils Groundbreaking 1Password Partnership with F1-First Steering Wheel Branding

Red Bull Racing has bolstered its cybersecurity defenses with a multi-year partnership with identity security powerhouse 1Password, setting a new standard for Formula 1 branding and digital security. The deal will see 1Password’s logo featured in a revolutionary new location—on the steering wheel screen of the RB21, a never-before-seen placement for the reigning champions.

The collaboration, announced ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season, will reinforce Red Bull’s security infrastructure, ensuring the team has trusted, secure access to critical data both trackside and at its Milton Keynes factory.

A First in Formula 1 Branding: Steering Wheel Integration

While sponsorship placements on an F1 car are nothing new, Red Bull is pushing boundaries by integrating 1Password’s branding directly onto the steering wheel screen of Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson’s RB21 challengers.

This innovative branding concept marks a first for Red Bull Racing and adds a unique visual element to the already high-tech cockpit of an F1 car.

But that’s not all—1Password’s logo will also feature on:
✅ RB21 bodywork
✅ Driver suits
✅ Pit crew and team apparel
✅ Garage screens
✅ Operations room at Milton Keynes HQ

This move aligns F1’s relentless pursuit of innovation with 1Password’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, ensuring Red Bull remains protected while making data-driven decisions in the fast-paced world of motorsport.

Supporting the Next Generation: 1Password Backs Alisha Palmowski’s F1 Academy Drive

Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner welcomed 1Password as the team’s exclusive cybersecurity partner, but what excited him even more was the firm’s commitment to Red Bull’s junior talent.

1Password will support the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme, including F1 Academy rookie Alisha Palmowski. The 18-year-old rising star will carry the 1Password branding on her car, race suit, and garage throughout the 2025 season, reinforcing the company’s investment in future racing talent.

“Everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing is excited to welcome 1Password to the Red Bull family,” said Horner.
“As the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season approaches, it is critical that our entire organization has secure, trusted access to critical information so we can continue to make confident, data-driven decisions trackside and back at the factory in Milton Keynes.”

“1Password investing in our Academy Programme shows the depth of our collaboration. We look forward to pushing the limits and innovating together—including debuting a team-first steering wheel branding display.”

Why This Partnership Matters: Cybersecurity Meets F1 Innovation

F1 teams operate on razor-thin margins for success, and protecting sensitive performance data is as crucial as engineering brilliance. As Red Bull continues to dominate the grid, its latest partnership ensures the team is fortified against cyber threats.

1Password Co-CEO David Faugno explained why the collaboration is a perfect fit:

“Partnering with a world champion like Oracle Red Bull Racing is an incredible opportunity.”
“As a dominant force in Formula 1, their success relies on engineering excellence, innovation, and seamless, secure access to critical information anywhere.”

“At 1Password, we believe security should empower productivity. That’s why we protect every sign-in, every point of access, and every piece of critical information—so the team can stay focused on what they do best: winning.”

Back-to-Back Partnerships: Red Bull Expands Sponsorship Portfolio

This deal comes just one day after Red Bull Racing announced a new partnership with crypto firm Gate.io, highlighting the team’s aggressive expansion in the tech space.

With 1Password securing Red Bull’s digital infrastructure and Gate.io entering the fold, the four-time consecutive Constructors’ Champions are ensuring their dominance extends beyond the track.

The Takeaway: Red Bull Keeps Raising the Bar

Red Bull’s partnership with 1Password isn’t just another sponsorship deal—it’s a bold statement about the future of cybersecurity in motorsport.

By integrating cutting-edge security solutions while pioneering F1-first branding placement, the Milton Keynes squad is proving once again that they don’t just lead on the track—they innovate everywhere.
