Red Bull Team Drama Unveiled: Horner Exposes Marko’s Newey Controversy – Shocking Truth Revealed

Red Bull Team Drama Unfolds: Horner Denies Newey’s Involvement in Driver Selection

In a shocking turn of events, the Red Bull Racing team is embroiled in controversy as Team Principal Christian Horner refutes claims made by consultant Helmut Marko regarding driver Yuki Tsunoda. Marko previously stated that Yuki Tsunoda was not considered for Red Bull earlier due to objections from Adrian Newey, but Horner clarifies that Newey had no say in this season’s driver selection.

Horner clarified in an interview with Sky Sport UK, “I want to make it clear that Adrian had no role in this season’s driver selection. He was not involved in this decision. Helmut was referring to the incident that occurred in 2022 at Silverstone.” This contradiction between Marko and Horner has thrown the team’s decision-making process into the spotlight.

Recent reports also highlighted Helmut Marko’s conspicuous absence from a technical meeting in Milton Keynes where the future development of the RB21 car was discussed with Max Verstappen. Marko, known for his hands-on approach, has seemingly been less involved in team matters recently, raising questions about his role within the organization.

Furthermore, Yuki Tsunoda’s comments added fuel to the fire, revealing that he had not heard from Marko since his official announcement. Tsunoda expressed his surprise at the lack of communication, stating, “Surprisingly, he hasn’t called me yet. I find it very strange. Maybe he was busy with other things, but I can’t wait to see him. It was certainly unusual not to have heard from him: from F3 to F1, he has always called me, but this time he didn’t. I’m sure he has nothing against me; we have never had any tense moments. When he comes to the circuit, we will see each other.”

However, these statements were contradicted by journalist Chris Medland, who revealed, “Yuki said he was looking forward to hearing from Marko. Then he left the press conference, checked his phone, and saw that Helmut had tried to call him just before the interview.” This confusion surrounding communication within the Red Bull team has raised eyebrows in the Formula 1 community.

Despite the turmoil, Helmut Marko was spotted at the Suzuka circuit today, closely monitoring the free practice sessions. The dynamics within the Red Bull Racing team continue to evolve, leaving fans and analysts alike captivated by the unfolding drama behind the scenes.
