Red Bull team divided on how to handle Christian Horner’s behavior.

Amidst the commotion, the 50-year-old has carried out his duties as usual in recent weeks and appeared at Red Bull’s season launch event on Thursday.

Reports suggest that the owners of Red Bull are divided on whether Christian Horner should depart from the team amidst the ongoing inquiry into his behavior.

Accusations of inappropriate behavior have been made against Horner, which he denies, following a complaint by a female employee to Red Bull’s parent company in Austria.

This situation has cast a shadow over Red Bull just before the upcoming season, with uncertainty surrounding Horner’s future as the investigation progresses.

Despite the turmoil, the 50-year-old has continued his regular duties in recent weeks and attended Red Bull’s season launch event on Thursday.

The investigation has caused a division among Red Bull’s owners in Austria and Thailand regarding Horner’s position within the team, according to F1-insider.

The Austrian faction, which holds a 49 percent stake, is reportedly adamant that Horner “must depart.”

On the other hand, the Thai contingent refuses to suspend or fire Horner, as they hold the final decision with their 51 percent ownership.

Despite concerns from the Austrian side, there are worries that this saga could become a turning point for the entire company.

The impact of the investigation on Red Bull’s ability to maintain their competitive edge against rivals in the upcoming season remains uncertain.

There is speculation that the inquiry may extend beyond the Bahrain Grand Prix next month, with Horner likely to face further questioning following initial scrutiny by legal experts last week.

Addressing the matter publicly for the first time on Thursday, Horner stated, “The overwhelming support from within the business, our partners, and the industry has been tremendous.

There is an ongoing process at the moment, with some allegations that I completely deny, and I am fully cooperating with that process and will continue to do so until it is concluded.”

He emphasized Red Bull’s stance that it is “business as usual” despite the ongoing allegations, reaffirming his dedication to his role within the team.

When asked about the potential distraction posed by the investigation, Horner expressed confidence in the team’s unity and focus on performance, eagerly anticipating their debut in Bahrain.
