With recent advancements and an increase in popularity, F1 team evaluations have skyrocketed, and the barrier to entry in F1 has risen. Earlier this season, there were speculations that Red Bull could sell its affiliate team RB, but reports were promptly dismissed by the Austrian team leaders. In fact, the team even decided to relocate its operations to Milton Keynes in order to reduce operational costs.
Despite the rejections, there has been significant interest from external parties to F1 in securing a spot on the grid. Consequently, a consultant associated with Red Bull shed light on the current situation at VCARB.
He explored the possibility of selling VCARB and left the decision in the hands of the shareholders. The Austrian also stated that several parties have expressed interest in acquiring the team based in Faenza.
Red Bull entered the season with the ambition to dominate every race. However, their aspirations were thwarted when another team clinched victory in Melbourne, where they seemed to be the favorites. This same team also dashed Red Bull’s hopes in 2023. The impressive performance of this team has left the Austrians skeptical about Red Bull’s pace in the upcoming races.
The octogenarian is steadfast in his belief that Ferrari’s exceptional speed cannot be discounted from the competition. However, with a strong showing in Japan, Red Bull seems to have a comfortable advantage over any challenges that may come their way.
Despite this, the aforementioned team remains optimistic, as they recently highlighted three clues where Ferrari could potentially pose problems for Red Bull. However, the Austrian giant will be cautious and well prepared for any challenges that may arise in the upcoming races.
