Piloto da Red Bull afirma oferta da Andretti F1 igualando número de funcionários da Haas apesar da rejeição da FOM.

Andretti intensifies efforts to enter Formula 1 with a new facility, despite being rejected by FOM (Formula One Management).

FOM turned down Andretti’s attempt to join the Formula 1 grid in 2026, despite promising prospects. However, most people on the grid supported Andretti’s application in relation to the current situation. A Red Bull development driver also backed the American bid. This driver stated that the project was gaining a comparable number of team members as Haas.

Many supported Andretti in the matter and highlighted the advantages that the American constructor presented, despite FOM’s rejection. According to these supporters, Andretti deserved all opportunities in the pinnacle of motorsport. The Red Bull driver currently competes for Andretti in Formula E. Therefore, this 28-year-old driver highlighted the constructor’s achievements in various categories of motorsport. Additionally, Andretti has already begun establishing a facility in Silverstone, despite the rejection.

Furthermore, it was noted that Andretti had “remarkable resources” at its disposal. The American bid was already close to matching Haas in terms of employing staff. If the team continues in this direction, F1 will need to reconsider its proposal. However, the 28-year-old driver mentioned that he would be quite old by the time this could happen in the world of Formula 1.

Jake Dennis only had praise for the entire Andretti candidacy to enter the F1 grid. Dennis stated that it was exciting to be part of Andretti, considering the progress the team was already making with its headquarters. The 28-year-old driver took a dig at Haas’ recent performances while highlighting the benefits of Andretti. Dennis mentioned that Andretti’s candidacy would allow for the entry of a competitive American team, especially with the involvement of General Motors as a power unit supplier. Currently, Haas is the only American team in F1 and has been through disappointing seasons.

Furthermore, the Englishman mentioned that two American brands collaborating would be something unique in Formula 1. Dennis also stated that there is enough space on the grid to accommodate an 11th team. Therefore, the Formula E champion remains eager to witness the entry of the American constructor as a new team in Formula 1.

Only time will tell if the Andretti-Cadillac candidacy will eventually be accepted by the FOM for a future season. However, as things stand, it is unlikely that the FOM will change its decision. Nevertheless, the American racing team has made it clear that they will persist in their efforts to secure a place on the F1 grid.
