Red Bull looks for fast fix for Christian Horner problem

A Dutch publication has made a new assertion that could worsen the situation at Red Bull just weeks before the start of the upcoming season. Reports indicate that Red Bull’s investigation into the behavior of Christian Horner may be expedited in order to reach a conclusion by the end of the following week. The 50-year-old is currently under investigation for allegations of inappropriate conduct, which he vehemently denies after a complaint was filed by a female colleague to Red Bull’s parent company in Austria. Another recent claim has surfaced from a Dutch newspaper, further adding to the already tense atmosphere at Red Bull just weeks before the new season begins. The reigning champions are now aiming to resolve the issue quickly in the coming days, as reported by The Times. Red Bull’s leadership is seeking to accelerate the investigation process. Initial reports suggested that the inquiry could extend beyond the Bahrain Grand Prix next month, with Horner expected to face further questioning following intense scrutiny by a senior lawyer last week. However, there is now reportedly a strong desire within Red Bull to expedite the process. Horner, who has been with Red Bull since their entry into Formula 1 in 2005, is believed to have sought legal representation to challenge the latest allegation. Nevertheless, the accusation appears to have done little to alleviate concerns about his future, which is said to be uncertain. Amidst all of this, Horner was asked about his future at Red Bull’s season launch event on Thursday, stating: “The support from within the business, our partners, and the industry has been overwhelming. Fernando #Alonso admits #Mercedes interest in him replacing Lewis Hamilton https://t.co/bFO7ZgDvnh. “There is an ongoing process at the moment, and some allegations have been made, which I completely deny. I am cooperating with the process and will continue to do so until it reaches a conclusion. Red Bull’s position has been clear, it’s business as usual. Of course, the allegations are part of a process that Red Bull is going through, and they have confirmed this externally. But there is still work to be done, and I fully deny the accusations that have been made. My role continues.”
