Red Bull F1 Chief Drops Bombshell Revelation about Yuki Tsunoda’s Struggles Compared to Max Verstappen

Red Bull’s Formula 1 team is in turmoil as team principal Helmut Marko discloses shocking revelations about the struggles of one of their drivers. The 2025 season has been a disaster for the Milton Keynes-based squad, with their hopes of clinching the constructors’ title fading fast after just six races, trailing behind the champions by nearly 150 points. The team’s woes have been exacerbated by the challenge of finding a suitable teammate to support defending champion Max Verstappen.

After replacing Sergio Perez with Liam Lawson, who was swiftly replaced by Yuki Tsunoda after just two races, the team is still grappling with performance issues. Despite Tsunoda’s recent points finish at the Miami Grand Prix, Marko acknowledges that there is much room for improvement. Marko expressed, “He’s the first [Verstappen] team-mate who can get a taste of Max’s performance. Unfortunately, when the pressure increases, he still makes mistakes.”

While Tsunoda managed to secure four points in Florida, with a notable performance in the sprint race, Verstappen faced fierce competition from Lando Norris, ultimately finishing in fourth place. With Norris leading the championship standings and surprise contender Oscar Piastri in second place, Verstappen is currently in third position. The Dutch driver, who recently welcomed his first child, is gearing up for the upcoming Emilia-Romagna GP in northern Italy.

The pressure is on for both Verstappen and Tsunoda as they navigate through a tumultuous F1 season filled with unexpected twists and intense rivalries. Stay tuned for more updates on the Red Bull saga as the drivers fight for supremacy on the track.
