Red Bull has excelled in the ground effect era of Formula 1 since the 2022 season. They broke numerous records in the 2023 season with the RB19 chassis. The 2024 season was expected to follow a similar trajectory. However, Milton Keynes has already lost three races out of eight. Therefore, a recent revelation about a significant issue with the chassis has emerged.

Their designed cars propelled them to achieve record performances. Red Bull cars were arguably the fastest on the grid. However, Verstappen has been vocal about the team’s recent struggles. The Dutchman stated that Red Bull did not know how to correct the fundamental errors in the chassis.

Another surprising development regarding Red Bull’s chassis problems recently came to light. It was reported that Max Verstappen had pointed out the error in the simulator data in the last two seasons. However, the engineers in Milton Keynes ignored the feedback from the world champion. This may explain why the simulator data error has been such a significant issue in recent races.

Red Bull’s advisor acknowledged the critical issue with the Red Bull simulator without hesitation. The octogenarian pointed out that the data in reality and the simulator data did not match. Marko also mentioned that this was not the first time such a problem had affected performance.

Consequently, Red Bull will need to pay more attention to Max Verstappen’s feedback regarding the chassis. The team must promptly resolve these issues to avoid late-season challenges. Despite this problem, Milton Keynes has consistently performed well in the last two seasons.

Red Bull currently holds the first position in the constructors’ championship. However, they may face tough competition from Ferrari and McLaren, who have recently shown impressive pace. The top teams are very close and could pose a threat to Red Bull. Nevertheless, the battle for the end of the season will be exciting for fans.
