Red Bull in Turmoil: Team Principal’s Heartbreak Over Rising Star Isack Hadjar’s Departure!

In a shocking twist for fans and followers of Formula 1, Alan Permane, the team principal of Red Bull’s sister team Racing Bulls, has expressed profound sorrow over the departure of rising star Isack Hadjar. The young Frenchman, who has dazzled spectators with his impressive performances, is set to step into a coveted seat with the main Red Bull team for the 2026 season.

Hadjar’s rookie season was nothing short of spectacular. He not only secured his first podium finish but also outshone his fellow competitors, Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, in the drivers’ championship standings. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that Hadjar was the only one among the trio who did not race in a Red Bull car during the 2025 season. While Tsunoda struggled to amass a mere 30 points across 22 grueling races, Hadjar emerged as a formidable contender, leaving fans and analysts alike buzzing with excitement.

Permane’s heartfelt sentiments were clear as he spoke about Hadjar’s monumental impact on the Racing Bulls team. “It’s been phenomenal,” he stated, reflecting on Hadjar’s resilience following a disheartening experience in Melbourne. “He bounced back almost immediately, showcasing his determination and talent.” With a nod to Hadjar’s exceptional performance at Japan’s demanding Suzuka circuit, Permane emphasized how crucial that race was for the budding star’s season. “For me, that was where his season really, really started,” he said, underlining Hadjar’s ability to adapt and thrive in challenging conditions.

As the Racing Bulls prepare to bid farewell to Hadjar, they are also brimming with pride for his ascent to join Max Verstappen at Red Bull. Permane acknowledged the bittersweet nature of the transition, admitting, “We are, of course, sad to lose him, but at the same time very proud that he’s done a good enough job to move up to Red Bull.”

The question now looms: can Hadjar rise to the challenge of competing alongside the reigning champion Verstappen? The 2026 season brings a wave of uncertainty, with new regulations shaking up the competitive hierarchy and Red Bull’s fresh power unit production adding a layer of unpredictability. Yet, one thing is for certain—if Hadjar hopes to battle for podiums and championships, he’ll need to match Verstappen’s pace in qualifying, a feat Tsunoda repeatedly failed to achieve in the previous season.

As the F1 world holds its breath, the spotlight now shines brightly on Isack Hadjar. Will he seize this golden opportunity and prove himself worthy of his place among the elite? The upcoming season promises to be a thrilling saga of talent, rivalry, and redemption. Stay tuned!
