Red Bull announces the departure of design guru Adrian Newey in 2025.

Adrian Newey has played a crucial role at Red Bull since 2006. After almost two decades with the team, he is scheduled to leave in early 2025. The team recently made an official announcement on their website regarding this development. Thanks to Newey’s designs for the RB19 and RB20, Red Bull has become the most dominant team on the grid, winning multiple constructors’ championships. Despite rumors of tempting offers from rival teams, Newey will be present with Red Bull during the Miami GP. However, he will step away from Formula 1 until the completion of Red Bull’s RB17 Hypercar project. The team wishes him the best in his endeavors.
