Red Bull allegedly will not appoint Helmut Marko as a replacement for Christian Horner if he is proven to have engaged in improper conduct.

Helmut Marko is not expected to replace Christian Horner as team principal at Red Bull as the team prepares to appoint a new Team Manager for the top position.

The Formula 1 Silly Season is in full swing with daily shocking news emerging. Just as the news of ‘s move to Ferrari settled with fans, another surprising development regarding the team principal of Red Bull, has come to light. It is alleged that the 50-year-old behaved inappropriately with a member of the Red Bull crew.

In response to these allegations, Red Bull has launched an independent investigation into the conduct of the principal. Should the allegations prove to be true, the team would need to find a replacement for Horner quickly. Amidst these developments, many believed that Helmut Marko would be the natural choice to succeed Horner at Red Bull.

However, reports indicate that Marko has no desire to take on the role of team principal in Milton Keynes. Instead, the current Team Manager, , is being considered as a potential replacement for Christian Horner. Wheatley has been with the team since 2006 and has risen through the ranks to become Team Manager. Therefore, the 56-year-old appears to be the most suitable candidate to take over from Horner.

The 50-year-old is no stranger to the Austrian constructor, having been with Red Bull since its inception in F1. The team took over Jaguar in 2005 and appointed Horner as Team Principal, a position he has held ever since. Under the leadership of the 50-year-old, Red Bull has enjoyed successful seasons in F1.

Christian Horner guided the team to numerous successful seasons, including Sebastian Vettel’s dominant period from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, the team has been a dominant force in the world of F1 for the past three years alongside . Horner has experienced both the highs and lows of the team and has remained loyal to the Red Bull brand.

Horner’s departure from the team would undoubtedly have a significant impact on Red Bull’s 2024 season and potentially future seasons. Therefore, it is crucial for the Orange army to receive a prompt and positive update as Milton Keynes prepares for the chassis launch on February 15. The team will address replacements and other issues promptly in the event of Horner’s departure.
