Record-Breaking Rally Portugal 2025: Unprecedented Entries, Fierce Competition, and Thrilling Challenges

Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime as Rally Portugal 2025 promises an adrenaline-pumping experience like never before! The stage is set for a record-breaking event with a stellar lineup of drivers ready to battle it out on the challenging European gravel tracks.

With a whopping total of 93 crews gearing up for the action, including 12 Rally1 cars, 45 WRC2 contenders, and 18 WRC3 participants, this year’s Rally Portugal is shaping up to be one for the books. The Rally1 category will see the likes of reigning champions Toyota and Hyundai going head-to-head, with top drivers such as Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, and Sébastien Ogier leading the charge.

Not to be outdone, the WRC2 category boasts a star-studded lineup with past winners Yohan Rossel, Oliver Solberg, and Gus Greensmith among the 45 crews vying for glory. The competition is fierce, with drivers like Kris Meeke and Dani Sordo adding to the excitement in Portugal.

As the rally unfolds, fans can expect intense battles in the Rally3 ranks, with the Junior WRC series heating up. The action-packed event will feature drivers like Taylor Gill, Mille Johansson, and Eamonn Kelly, each looking to make their mark on the challenging terrain.

Friday’s leg will be a test of skill and endurance, with 10 stages pushing the drivers to their limits. The new stages, including SS10 Águeda / Sever and SS11 Sever / Albergariaare, will add an extra element of suspense to the competition.

And let’s not forget about Super Sunday, set to be the longest of the season so far, with six stages and 45 competitive miles to determine the ultimate victors. From the iconic Fafe powerstage to the classic routes of Arganil and Amarante, every twist and turn will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
