He swiftly provided his testing kit to assist in diagnosing the situation. Another passenger in the aisle seat also offered a diabetic testing kit, which turned out to be Andrews himself.
With Andrews’ guidance, the medical professionals successfully used the testing kit, and the woman’s heart rate eventually stabilized. Once the flight landed, paramedics were waiting to attend to her, while Andrews left the plane.
This act of heroism occurred just days after Andrews and the Ravens competed in the AFC championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Although the Ravens lost the game, Andrews managed to make a significant impact despite his recent return from an ankle injury. He caught two passes for 15 yards, showcasing his resilience and determination.
