Land Rover has introduced two new variants of the Range Rover, an SV and a more radical option dubbed the Sport SV Black, a high-performance model designed with an unwavering commitment to monochromatic aesthetics.
The new Range Rover Sport SV Black stands out due to the extensive application of Gloss Black finishes on its exterior. The body is presented in Narvik Black, complemented by a complete Narvik Gloss Black exterior pack.
This treatment extends to previously untouched details, such as the Range Rover SV emblem and the brand emblems on the grille, which now appear in black ceramic.
Further emphasizing the “black side” of this Sport SV Black is the black-painted carbon fiber hood, 23’’ Gloss Black Forged alloy wheels, and Gloss Black brake calipers.
The four exhaust tips of the system also follow suit, featuring a Gloss Black treatment, contributing to the vehicle’s understated appearance.
The design intention is to present a vehicle that appears “immersed in shine,” offering a bold interpretation of sporting luxury without obvious visual adornments.
In the cabin, the monochromatic theme continues in line with the exterior, with the interior upholstered in tactile Ebony Windsor leather for the sport seats. The illuminated thresholds are in Black SV. Additionally, there is an emphasis on the finishes in Gloss Black, which ensures a consistent dark aesthetic.
The Range Rover Sport SV Black is equipped with the same powertrain as the standard SV, namely a 4.4-liter MHEV Twin Turbo V8 gasoline engine. This unit generates 626 hp of power and a maximum torque of 750 Nm. These figures allow the Land Rover SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
