The Ram 2500 Lunar Edition is a striking new addition to the lineup, featuring distinctive design elements that set it apart in the crowded world of pickup trucks. With its two-tone black tow mirrors, gloss black side graphics, powder-coated bumpers and fender flares, and a body-colored Ram logo on the front fascia, this special edition pickup is unmistakable. According to Ram, these design choices are inspired by the color palettes found on the moon.
The Lunar Edition comes with 17-inch Power Wagon wheels and 20-inch Rebel HD wheels, both finished in black to match the truck’s dark accents. The wheels are equipped with 33-inch all-terrain tires, enhancing the truck’s off-road capability. The Power Wagon version also includes a 2-inch lift kit, front and rear locking differentials, and a sway bar disconnect system, allowing for better traction on uneven terrain.
Inside, the Lunar Edition is outfitted with black leather upholstery, Surf Blue stitching, and Twill Film accents on the doors, center console, and dashboard—features reminiscent of the Ram 1500 TRX. A metal badge on the central armrest, marked with either “Power Wagon” or “Rebel,” adds a touch of exclusivity. Additionally, a wireless charging pad for smartphones is included, a feature not available on the standard Power Wagon and Rebel HD models.
Under the hood, the Lunar Edition retains the robust engines of its standard counterparts. The Power Wagon is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. The Rebel HD version comes with a 6.7-liter Cummins inline-six turbodiesel engine delivering 370 horsepower and a massive 850 lb-ft of torque. The HEMI engine provides a towing capacity of 10,610 pounds, while the Cummins diesel can tow up to 14,900 pounds, with a payload capacity of 1,960 pounds.
Both versions of the Lunar Edition come equipped with a factory-installed 12,000-pound Warn winch, integrated into the front bumper. The trucks also feature Ram’s exclusive link-coil rear suspension with air suspension, which can automatically level the vehicle when carrying a heavy payload or towing a trailer.
The Ram 2500 Lunar Edition is now available for order, with the Power Wagon starting at $75,205 and the Rebel HD at $85,490, including a $1,995 destination fee. Deliveries are expected to begin in October.
