RAM Revs Up for NASCAR Comeback with a Game-Changing Strategy
Revving up the engines for a sensational return to NASCAR, RAM is all set to shake things up in the racing world with a unique approach that promises to be “unlike anyone else.” The CEO of RAM, Tim Kuniskis, has declared that this time, they are gearing up to make a mark in NASCAR like never before, setting themselves apart from the competition in the NASCAR realm.
Making a bold move, Stellantis announced that RAM will be making a grand entry into NASCAR’s Truck Series starting from Daytona 2026, marking the first appearance of a new manufacturer on the national level since 2007. RAM will be joining the ranks of Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota as the fourth OEM, reviving its history in the Truck Series dating back from 1995 to 2016 when it was known as “Dodge RAM.”
With plans to collaborate with four to six teams as partners for the Truck Series race, RAM is keeping the racing world on its toes with no official announcement yet on the teams or drivers it will be backing in the upcoming season.
In an exclusive interview with The Athletic, Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis teased, “The way we’re going to do it is unlike anyone else. When we bring the Hemi engine back and some other surprises we haven’t revealed yet, it makes perfect sense to be back in the NASCAR space. But again, we’re going to do it differently than everybody else.”
Having tasted success in the Cup Series from 2001 to 2012, including a championship win with Brad Keselowski in the final year, RAM is all set to reclaim its glory in NASCAR with a fresh perspective and innovative strategies.
In a surprising turn of events, renowned automotive YouTuber Cleetus McFarland, also known as Lawrence Garrett Mitchell, is reportedly in discussions to join the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series under the RAM banner as early as 2026. With a strong likelihood of McFarland becoming a part of RAM’s anticipated return to the series, fans are eager to witness this exciting collaboration unfold in the world of stock car racing.
After making waves in the ARCA Menards Series this year with impressive performances, McFarland’s potential entry into the Truck Series adds an extra layer of excitement and anticipation for what RAM has in store for the NASCAR circuit.
As RAM gears up for its NASCAR comeback with a promise of innovation and a fresh perspective, the racing world is bracing itself for a thrilling season ahead filled with surprises and game-changing moments on the track.
